The interest aroused by the knowledge of the families in the power elites during Modern Spain, along with the historiographical vacuum, which in this respect has rural Cadiz, justifies this research. From the perspective of the cultural and historical, the present work deals with the study of a particular case Espinosa Núñez de Prado, a lineage whose economic, social and cultural role, include the geographical framework of southern Andalusia during the XVII and XVIII centuries.
