¿While I was at a bookstore, I noticed a book titled El otoño del pingüino (The Autumn of the Penguin) published by a ¿respectable¿ publishing house from Beirut. At first I did not think that it was the same work as El otoño del patriarca (The Autumn of the Patriarch) but I was surprised when I saw the name Gabriel García Márquez on the cover.¿ (Hasan M. Yusuf). Through this introductory text the author stresses that the work is focussed on the analysis of the cultural elements in the translation from a descriptive perspective.
