Pepe and Pepa were a duckbill platypus couple preparing to have and care for the next generation: theyd chosen a lovely place and dug out a big room that opened up into a large burrow, perfect for little ones. The day that Pepa laid her egg they were very happy. But over the course of a number of days every time Pepa left the burrow she found another egg, they were slightly different than her own eggs, but eggs nonetheless.
